Use this procedure to replace your temporary password with a new one.
Note: When you enter your password in the Cobra Login dialog box, Cobra checks whether the password is temporary. If it is, Cobra displays the following message: "Your password is temporary and is intended for setting up new password only." Click
OK to display the Set New Password dialog box.

To set a new password:

In the Set New Password dialog box, do the following:

In the
New Password field, enter your new password.
Note: Your new password must adhere to the established password policies configured through the Password Policies form in PPM Administrator. If it does not, Cobra displays a message prompting you to correct it.

In the
Confirm New Password field, re-enter your new password.

Click
OK.
Cobra compares the values in the
New Password and
Confirm New Password fields to ensure they match. If the passwords match, Cobra accepts the new password and sends a confirmation email to the address associated with your user ID. If the passwords do not match, Cobra displays a message prompting you to re-enter the new password.
